MDD: Reaching All Generations

Tuesday, January 28, 1:30pm

Come learn about the Make and Deepen Disciples Mission Priority.

In Matthew 4:19, Jesus presented this invitation: “Come, follow me, and I will show you how to fish for people.” Although on the surface, this offer seems like a simple one, in reality, it requires a lifetime of intentional experiences to understand and embody this call to discipleship.

This is why Make and Deepen Disciples is committed to mobilizing a multiethnic movement of disciples who make disciples across all ages. We are dedicated to this mission because we believe that Jesus is the hope of the world and that hope is realized in the world when more people in more places become more like Jesus.

If you want to help your staff, leaders, and congregation find your church’s best pathway for following Jesus, join us at the MDD Experience. In this short time together, we will look at the best the ECC has to offer to help everyone from every age and every stage find their next step in becoming the person Jesus is calling them to be.

Begin with the Blazing Center

Wednesday, January 29, 7:00-9:00 am

Thursday, January 30, 11:30 am - 1:00 pm

Will God ever ask you to do something you are not able to do on your own? All the time. Why?

God wants us to acknowledge the power source that he has put inside of every believer. When we lean on our own ability, we are limited. But if we learn to access the blazing center within, God is able to accomplish “exceeding more than we could ever ask or think” through our lives and in our churches. It is our conscious dependence upon the Holy Spirit that transforms us, prepares us, and mobilizes us to be the hands and feet of Jesus on earth.

Join us for breakfast for an in-depth look at the new Blazing Center Resource Suite designed to ignite a passion for the Holy Spirit as we grow in our conscious dependence on the Holy Spirit.

Meal provided with $10 registration fee.

The Covenant church in North America is in a unique partnership with Covenant Churches across the globe in creating an international, intensive, discipleship experience for young adults, called Acts29. This 10-12 week program (not to be confused with the North America based Acts29 church planting movement) provides an opportunity for participants to dig deep into scripture and also grow from the great opportunity that comes with international ministry experience.

Acts29, in partnership with the Make and Deepen Disciples Team, is hosting a free breakfast for individuals who are interested in learning more about the program. Please rsvp for the breakfast when you register for Midwinter. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to Tim Ciccone, Director of Youth and Young Adults, at
