Hosted by the ECC Ministerium. We’re gathering to address your ideas, needs, and advocacy options related to 3 timely realities: authorizing women in ministry, confronting sexual assault/abuse, and empowering women of color/naming race and privilege. This will be a low program, high-impact, community-focused, and capacity-building time – open to all women in and/or called to ministry leadership roles. Bethany Benefit Service and Catapult Health are teaming up to offer preventive health exams during Midwinter. Exams are more comprehensive than previous screenings and are considered a full preventive checkup. Each 30- to 40-minute checkup includes eight diagnostic blood tests (with only a finger prick), medical history, physical measurements, and clinical consultation with a board certified nurse practitioner. To participate, register and pay the $25 participant fee during the online registration process. When you complete your exam, Bethany Benefit Service will reimburse you the participant fee on-site, so the cost is free. No refund for no-shows.
Women Ministries Breakfast
7-9 am
What are the women of the Covenant saying they need? How do they view women’s ministry, and how might it change to reflect their concerns? Come learn about new research and the fresh vision for Women Ministries. Make a new friend, and connect with women from across the denomination. $29. RSVP during registration.
