Gatherings for Women Clergy & Leaders

As busy and sometimes isolated women ministry leaders, we can grow tired and discouraged. It is crucial that we find refreshment and reconnection with Jesus and one another to flourish in our calling. We invite you to spend a morning facilitated by Rev. Susan Cosio, an experienced chaplain, spiritual director, and contemplative retreat leader. We pray you’ll be encouraged and feel renewed for ministry as you head into Midwinter. Join women leaders from the Ministerium for our 2nd Annual Event addressing three timely topics - authority & leadership, advocating for survivors of abuse/assault, and advocating with women of color for racial justice. Hear from speakers and also elevate your voice as we empower and strategize with each other. For women attendees only, clergy and women in leadership roles welcome. No registration required.

Doors open at 1:00 pm; Event begins at 1:30 pm, includes speakers, break out groups, and updates; Networking with other leaders at 3:30 pm.

Practicing Solidarity: What does advocacy look like?

Tuesday, 9:15-11:00 pm - Grand C

Come learn how we begin to embody practicing solidarity as a denominational family. We will discuss the need for practicing solidarity, highlight Scripture’s call to practice solidarity, and explore what this tangibly looks like within our denominational and local context. We will have a panel that represents our denominational ethnic associations, and a space for corporately processing the newest addition to The Six-Fold Test for Multiethnic Ministry.

Join us for a morning with Bobby Gruenewald as he shares how to take a missional approach to technology in your church. Bobby is passionate about exploring new ideas and finding practical ways to leverage them for the global church. He serves as pastor and innovation leader at Life.Church, a multi-site church based in Oklahoma. Meeting in more than 30 different physical locations and globally online, the church is devoted to helping people around the world become fully devoted followers of Christ. Gruenewald is also the founder of the YouVersion Bible App, which has been installed on over 400 million devices.

Evening gatherings,  annual association meetings, and hosted meals taking place Monday to Thursday.
